You may have seen the article in Voice of the People on August 24 about the beagle mama that was hit and killed near Hardee’s and the Lowes Shopping Center. We were never able to find her puppies. This is the mother of the beagle that was killed. She has been in foster care with PAWS for two months and her puppies were all adopted. Now she needs to be adopted and PAWS is desperate to find her a home. Babe is very sweet and loves belly rubs. It takes her a while to accept other dogs because for years she had to defend herself on the streets for food and to protect her puppies. She is coming around with the other dogs at her foster home. Babe would love to lay on the porch in the shade—she just wants a home of her own. PAWS will spay her and waive the adoption fee for a donation. Call (276) 694-3616.
