Upcoming workforce classes include: April 11, Microsoft Word 2013; advanced; April 18, Microsoft Excel 2013; April 25, Microsoft Excel 2013 Intermediate; and April 26, Administrative Professionals Day luncheon.

A community class will also be offered: April 21, Motorcycle Basic Rider Course.

The new Workforce Credential Grant (WCG) will help pay tuition costs for select workforce training programs for Virginia residents. Students only pay 30% of the total cost.

How it works:

  2. The Commonwealth of Virginia pays 1/3 when you complete the class.

  3. The final 1/3 is paid by the Commonwealth of Virginia when you earn the credential.

Other financial assistance may be available to help pay for your portion.

Upcoming WCG programs include Phlebotomy Technician, which begins July 10. The full price pf the course is $1,884, with tuition assistance, students pay $628.

Pre-registration is required; visit http://ph.augusoft.net or call (276) 656-0260 to register.
