Patrick Henry Community College (PHCC) is celebrating the 10-year anniversary of its athletics affiliation with the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). To commemorate this milestone, the PHCC Foundation is launching the Patriot “10 for 10” campaign for supporters of PHCC athletics to take part in the program’s continuing success.
The goal is to receive 1,000 donations of $10 and 10 donations of $1,000. The $1,000 donors receive reserved seating and are recognized with a special gift at the Patriots Athletic Banquet on Monday, April 10.
Over the past 10 years, the athletics program has served over 1000 student-athletes including many international students. This year alone nine nations are represented among Patriot teams.
The athletics program has received regional and national accolades throughout the decade including 118 all-region selections, 10 region coach of the year awards, six region championships, and 3 national tournament appearances.
The college offers a variety of athletic programs including: men and women’s soccer, basketball, golf, and cross county, and baseball, softball, volleyball, and cheerleading.
