Many of Virginia’s top employers have unfilled jobs but are unable to find the number of trained workers they need.
To bring together these employers and job seekers Patrick Henry Community College offers short-term training that leads to industry recognized credentials as well as many options for financial aid. Learn about the training opportunities PHCC offers and the available financial aid at two information sessions.
The information session will address upcoming short-term career development programs such as: electrical groundsman, HOPE customer service or food service, advanced film manufacturing, truck driving CDL, community dental health coordinator, CMA, veterinary assistant and more.
PHCC’s Workforce, Economic and Community Development division will hold these two information sessions on Thursday, February 4. The first session will be from 10 a.m. to noon and the second session will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Both sessions will take place in Frith Hall room 154 on PHCC’s main campus.
Pre-registration to attend is not required, and attendees will be entered to win a $25 gas card. To request more information, contact the Division of Workforce Economic and Community Development at PHCC (276) 656-0260.
