Patrick Henry Community College will offer the OSHA 30 training program on Fridays, September 23 through October 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The 30-hour training is targeted to supervisors or workers with some safety responsibility. Through this training, workers are more knowledgeable about workplace hazards, employee rights, and how to contribute to the nation’s productivity.
The instructor is Stuart Bowman, safety and environmental manager at Alcoa Titanium & Engineered Products. The cost is $294.99 which includes the textbook.
