Surry Community College will offer an introductory class for Windows 10 at The Pilot Center, 612 East Main Street, Pilot Mountain, N.C. The class will meet February 23 through March 17 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 4 p.m.
The course covers the basic computer skills, using Microsoft’s newest operating system, Windows 10. Students will learn what is new to Windows 10 as well as discovering the location of the everyday features used in past versions.
They will also learn to browse the Internet with Microsoft’s new Edge application and find other useful apps in the Window’s App Store. Other skills including file maintenance (moving, copying, and renaming files) and using removable media will also be covered.
