Rae Freda Carlson, age 80, of Stuart, died Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at Pioneer Community Hospital in Stuart.
She was born in New York on May 18, 1936, to the late James and Julia Preston Donaldson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Carlson; a granddaughter, Amy Carlson; and two brothers, James Donaldson, Jr. and Steven Donaldson.
She is survived by three daughters, Susie Dorsett of Dunkirk, N.Y., Gale Troop of Stuart and Julie Dowling of Florida; one son, Doyle Carlson of Cozumel; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Kathy Stuart of Jamestown, N.Y.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Moody Funeral Home in Stuart is handling the arrangements.
