The American Red Cross is in need of volunteers to help support local blood drives in the Patrick County area. Every day, someone in our community depends on the gift of blood to survive—after an accident, during surgery, or while battling illness. The American Red Cross relies on volunteers to help make these life saving donations possible.
That is why we’re calling on YOU to step forward as a Blood Donor Ambassador.
Blood Donor Ambassadors are the warm welcome donors receive when they walk through the door. They check donors in, provide comfort and reassurance, and help ensure every donor feels appreciated and valued. Just a few hours of your time can support dozens of local patients in need.
No medical experience is necessary—just a friendly smile, a caring heart, and a desire to make a difference right here at home.
By volunteering, you can:
• Support lifesaving blood collections
• Give back directly to your neighbors
• Build community, compassion, and confidence
• Help ensure a stable, reliable blood supply
When you serve as a Blood Donor Ambassador, you’re not just volunteering—you’re helping save lives.
