The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is sponsoring an informational meeting for small farmers who want to learn more about available grants, crop production, and other resources from USDA to benefit and support small farm operations.
Representatives from USDA will speak and answer questions from attendees of the informational meeting. Representatives from USDA will include the Farm Service Agency (FSA), Rural Development (RD), Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), Virginia Cooperative Extension, Virginia State Small Farm Outreach and Virginia Tech.
This event is free and open to the public and will be held at the Patrick Henry Community College site located at 212 Wood Brothers Drive in Stuart. If additional information is needed or to register by phone, contact the Small Farm Outreach Program Office at (804) 524-5626.
