The Patrick County Chamber of Commerce sponsored a ribbon-cutting ceremony April 14 for the Mat Room, located in uptown Stuart at 151 North Main Street. The Mat Room invites everyone to “get in shape” with martial arts, exercise, tumbling (also for kids), dancing, yoga, muscle-sculpting, Pilates, Tae kwon do, wrestling, judo, and even a “boot camp.” Pictured at the ribbon-cutting are (left to right) Matilda Hunsicker, Wren Williams, Britt Williams, Monica Gravely, Sherry Cassady, Chad Lange (owner), Tim Collins, Denise Stirewalt, Joseph Quesenberry, and Stephanie Vipperman.
