Beginning Monday, March 25, Virginia 661 (Dangler Mountain Road), between Virginia 741 (Elk Creek Road) and Virginia 644 (Creasy Chapel Road), will be closed to through traffic, according to a release from the Virginia Department of Transportation.
The closure is needed to replace a pipe carrying a branch of Peter’s Creek, the release stated.
The road is expected to re-open on Friday, March 29, weather permitting.
All motorists are reminded to use caution during the closure and follow the directional signs.
