Beginning Monday, Feb. 27, a portion of Virginia State Rt. 719 (Widgeon Creek Road) will be closed to through traffic from Virginia 710 (Woods Gap Road), according to a release from the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).
The road closure is necessary for bridge work over Widgeon Creek, the release stated. Weather permitting, the road is expected to re-open by Friday, March 3.
