The Reynolds Homestead enters its 9th year of offering classes for those aged 50 and older who enjoy lifelong learning, fitness, arts and crafts, and visits to historic sites.  The College for Older Adults begins its 18th session on April 15, and the new course catalog is now available.

Participants in the 2018 College for Older Adults enjoyed a visit to the historic Tomahawk Mill winery in Chatham.

Classes on history, nature, health and wellness, and financial planning are on the schedule, as well as meditation, yoga, hiking, walking and line dancing.

Trips to historic Mt. Airy, Pacabella Farm, Homestead Creamery, and other fun places are also on the agenda. If arts and crafts are your favorite, learn to twin a rug using a hula hoop, craft lovely paper flowers, paint barn quilts and much more.

For a schedule and registration form, contact the Reynolds Homestead at 276-694-7181 or download the forms from the website www.reynoldshomestead.vt.edu.
