The second annual Replenish Festival will be held July 9 at the Burnett Farm in Willis.
The festival will welcome its headlining act, Grammy nominated, Building 429, which has been part of the Winter Jam tour. Back by popular demand, the JJ Weeks Band will return to the festival stage. The band’s hit song “Let Them See You” was a top 20 song for over 30 weeks.
The festival will have plenty of fun activities to participate in as well as offering some awesome prizes. Liberty University will give away a $16,500 scholarship to one lucky festival-goer who stops by their booth to inquire about Liberty University’s many courses of study. In addition, they will be giving away an autographed electric guitar and a Go-Pro camera.
The festival will also hold a duck race with prizes awarded. For “Two-bucks-a-duck,” send a numbered duck for a swim down the creek. Prizes will be awarded for grown-ups and kids alike.
More music can be enjoyed from various local and regional bands including All Came As One, Not About Me, Reverb Worship, and Fritz Schindler.
There will be inflatables for the kids, sand art, camping ($10 per campsite), a bonfire, merchandise vendors and food vendors. An after-party barn dance will be held under the big tent on July 9.
It is sure to be a festive experience and includes a time for worship to our Creator. Saturday night will include a message from Liberty University’s David Wheeler. A Sunday morning worship service will feature Reverb Worship and a message from the Rev. Patricia Farrell. For those who wish to be baptized, the festival will offer baptism in the creek after the Sunday service.
Tickets for Replenish Festival are required on Saturday, but Sunday is a free day open for all who would like to participate in an outdoor worship service. Early bird pricing is offered with tickets starting now at $20 for adults (ages 13+). An adult ticket at the gate will be $25. Junior ticket pricing (ages 6-12) will be $5 in advance and $8 at the gate. Children five and under will be admitted free.
