The Patrick County School Board called an emergency meeting to discuss the reopening plan.
The meeting will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 7, in the library at Patrick County High School.
Schools currently are set to open Aug. 11 under a modified or hybrid plan, which offers options of virtual or in class learning opportunities. Students enrolled in the classroom option would attend classes two days each week.
Recently, four people in the school community have tested positive for COVID-19. School officials have declined additional comment, citing privacy and health laws.
