A home in Meadows of Dan was searched for narcotics early Thursday, according to Patrick County Sheriff Dan Smith.
Members of the sheriff’s office tactical response team executed a narcotics search warrant at approximately 6:55 a.m. at 347 Red Rough Road, Smith said.
The property is owned by Maynard Roger Phillips, age 69.
The search produced quantities of methamphetamine, methamphetamine paraphernalia and firearms, according to the sheriff.
Smith said that a covert narcotics investigation conducted during the last 15 days by his office resulted in a methamphetamine purchase allegedly from the residence.
Three individuals, including Phillips, occupied the home at the time the warrant was served, according to Smith, who added that the investigation is continuing.
He noted that multiple felony charges are forthcoming.
Patrick Sheriff’s Lt. Eric O’Connell, Investigator Nicholas Pendleton and Patrick Meade, a special agent with the Virginia State Police, are leading the investigation.
