Sheriff Dan Smith reported the following arrests:
• Chelsea Marie Azbell, 20, of Ararat, was arrested June 8 on an indictment charge of possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance.
Deputy J.D. Hubbard made the arrest.
• Gary Wayne Nester, 42, of Patrick Springs, was arrested June 8 on an indictment charge of welfare fraud.
Deputy D.A. Gray made the arrest.
• Lila Suzanne Bartholow, 42, of Ararat, was arrested June 8 on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Deputy B. Webb made the arrest.
• Thomas Anthony Mitchell, 25, of Bassett, was arrested June 8 on a charge of property damage.
Deputy M. Craig made the arrest.
• Isaiah Tyre Stokley, 20, of Stuart, was arrested June 8 on charges of burglary, robbery, and malicious wounding.
Deputy O. Tejeda made the arrest.
• Raekwon Keyon Manns, 20, of Stuart, was arrested June 8 on charges of robbery, malicious wounding and burglary.
Deputy D. Dillon made the arrest.
Manns was also arrested June 5 on a charge of stealing property.
Deputy Jason Kruse made the arrest.
• Joseph Sobolewski, 36, of Stuart, was arrested June 8 on an indictment charge of grand larceny.
Deputy Lewis Carroll Jr. made the arrest.
• Amanda Michelle Nester, 31, of Patrick Springs, was arrested June 8 on an indictment charge of grand larceny, 14 indictment counts of welfare fraud, and two indictment counts of making false welfare applications.
Deputy Tejeda made the arrest.
• Priscilla Ann Martin, 37, of Stuart, was arrested June 9 on a charge of failure to appear in court.

• Jonathan Tyler McHone, 22, of Stuart, was arrested June 9 on charges of grand larceny and possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance.
Investigator T.D. Mikels made the arrest.
• Summer Cherie Scott, 20, of Stuart, was arrested June 9 on charges of grand larceny and possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance.
Inv. Mikels made the arrest.
• Philip W. Horton, 21, of Woolwine, was arrested June 9 on a charge of possession of marijuana, first offense.
State Trooper J.M. Hylton made the arrest.
• Philena Shafer Horton, 47, of Marlinton, W.Va., was arrested June 9 on charges of possession of marijuana, first offense, and possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance.
Trooper Hylton made the arrest.
• Erin Tamara Flowers Russell, 34, of Stuart, was arrested June 9 on contributing to the delinquency of a minor and distribution of a Schedule VI controlled substance.
Deputy S.R. Keffer made the arrest.
• Raleigh Jordan Hiatt, 34, of Ararat, was arrested June 9 on charges of ignoring a law enforcement officer’s command, reckless driving (racing) and driving without a driver’s license.
Deputy Dustin Dillon made the arrest.
• Zachariah K. Robinson, 29, of Stuart, was arrested June 9 on a charge of substituting a sample for a drug/alcohol test.

• James Clifford Tilley, 76, of Stuart, was arrested June 10 on two indictment counts of aggravated sexual battery, three indictment counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and one indictment count of taking indecent liberties with a minor.
Investigator Steve Austin made the arrest.
• Robert Wade Payne, 45, of Stuart, was arrested June 4 on a charge of grand larceny.
The city of Roanoke served the Patrick County charges.
• Ricky Lee Shinault, 40, of Claudville, was arrested June 5 on a warrant of extradition.
Deputy Carroll made the arrest.
• Tasha Renee Hale, 31, of Brighton, Ala., was arrested June 5 on a capias for failure to appear in court.
State Trooper Patrick Meade made the arrest.
• Malik Tahir Dorsey, 22, of Stuart, was arrested June 5 on a charge of stealing property.
Dorsey was also arrested June 5 on a charge of possession of marijuana.
Deputy Kruse made the arrests.
• Ronnie Dorsey Dayton, 37, of Stuart, was arrested June 10 on three counts of failure to appear in court (contempt).
Deputy D.L. Foley made the arrest for Henry County.
• Staci Shantel Marable, 25, of Martinsville, was arrested June 12 on a charge of failure to appear in court.
The Martinsville Police Department made the arrest for Patrick County.
• Davis Issac Ezzell, 39, address unavailable, was arrested June 13 on charges of conspiracy to sell a controlled substance, sale of a Schedule I or II controlled substance, and distribution of marijuana.
The Roanoke Police Department made the arrest for Patrick County.
