Sheriff reports arrests

Sheriff Dan Smith reported the following arrests:
• Kevin Lee Shelton, 28, of Stuart, was arrested July 8 on two counts of having carnal knowledge of a child aged 13 or 14 years, without force, and a charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Investigator Linda Martin made the arrest.
• Jeanne Ellen Collins, 45, of Stuart, was arrested July 8 on a charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Investigator Martin made the arrest.
• Summer Nicole Collins, 26, of Woolwine, was arrested July 9 on a charge of assault on a family member.
Deputy Oscar Tejeda made the arrest.
• Rebecca Jane Barnett, 36, of Stuart, was arrested July 9 on a charge of shoplifting.
Deputy Tejeda made the arrest.
• Harold Lee Alison, 46, of Mount Airy, N.C., was arrested July 5 on indictment charges of statutory burglary and grand larceny.
Sgt. M.A. Holland made the arrest.
• Robby Glenn Grona, 22, of Patrick Springs, was arrested July 5 on a charge of probation violation.
Deputy K. Vaughan made the arrest.
• Joseph Randall Davis, 50, of Galax, was arrested July 5 on a charge of obtaining money by false pretense.
Deputy R. Rorrer made the arrest.
• Kevin Lee Lemons, 43, of Bassett, was arrested July 5 on a charge of producing or possessing obscene material for sale.
The Martinsville Police Department made the arrest for Patrick County.
• Trey Austin Morgan, 21, of Claudville, was arrested July 6 on a charge of assault on a family member.
Deputy D.A. Gray made the arrest.
• Jasmine Breanna Marshall, 20, of Stuart, was arrested July 6 on a charge of assault on a family member.
Deputy Gray made the arrest.
• Darius Ray Reed, 24, of Ararat, was arrested July 6 on a charge of issuing two bad checks within a 90 day period.
Deputy Margie Stowe made the arrest.
• Anthony Brian Mitchell, 35, of Martinsville, was arrested July 6 on charges of grand larceny, interfering with the property rights of another, and possession of a firearm by a non-violent felon within a 10-year period.
The Martinsville Police Department made the arrest for Patrick County.
• Clifford Kenner Harris Nitto, 28, of Roxboro, N.C., was arrested July 6 on charges of grand larceny, six counts of forgery of public records, identity theft used to avoid arrest, and driving without a license.
Investigator D.L. Martin and Investigator T.D. Mikels made the arrest.
• Betsy Lynn Irvin, 42, of Stuart, was arrested July 7 on a charge of issuing two or more bad checks within 90 days.
Investigator D.L. Martin made the arrest.
• Trey Austin Morgan, 21, of Claudville, was arrested July 7 on a charge of attempted escape without force or violence.
Investigator Martin made the arrest.
• Jerry Lee Walker Jr., 25, of Stuart, was arrested July 7 on charges of trespassing and petit larceny, first offense.
Deputy Lewis Carroll made the arrest.
• Samuel S. Becker, 43, of Mount Airy, N.C., was arrested July 1 on a charge of assault.
Deputy Gray made the arrest.
• Annie Oakley Williams, 36, of Mount Airy, N.C., was arrested July 1 on two indictment counts of sale of a Schedule I or II controlled substance and one indictment charge of conspiracy to sell a controlled substance.
Deputy Gray made the arrest.
• Jennifer Anne Lunsford, 38, of Galax, was arrested July 1 on charges of failure to appear in court and giving a false identity to a law enforcement officer.
State Trooper P.W. Meade made the arrest.
• Michelle Spencer Reed, 34, of Stuart, was arrested July 2 on charges of grand larceny and destruction of property.
Sgt. J. Bird made the arrest for Henry County.
• Anthony Wayne Harris Jr., 25, of Spencer, was arrested July 2 on three indictment counts of selling a Schedule I or II controlled substance.
The Martinsville Police Department made the arrest for Patrick County.
• Travis Dwayne Martin, 24, of Martinsville, was arrested July 2 on a charge of failure to appear for review.
The Henry County Sheriff’s Office made the arrest for Patrick County.
• Charles Joyce Lee, 33, of Stuart, was arrested July 3 on a charge of shoplifting.
Deputy Gray made the arrest.
• Levi Stephen Weible, 35, of Patrick Springs, was arrested July 3 on a charge of shoplifting.
Deputy Gray made the arrest.
• Joshua Coy Reed, 36, of Stuart, was arrested July 3 on charges of destruction of property and grand larceny.
Deputy D.L. Foley and Deputy J.W. Kruse made the arrest.
• Vincent Paul Steele, 24, of Henry, was arrested July 4 on a charge of assault and battery.
Deputy Tejeda made the arrest.
• Daniel Carmen Salinas, 23, of Spencer, was arrested July 4 on charges of possession of Schedule I or II controlled substance, trespassing, and shoplifting.
Deputy M.T. Rorrer made the arrest.
Salinas was also charged with trespassing.
Deputy Rorrer made the arrest for Henry County.
• Philgene Montgomery Jr., 44, of Claudville, was arrested July 6 on a charge of purchasing or transporting a gun in violation of a protective order.
Deputy Carroll made the arrest.
• James Brandon Bennett, 36, of Ararat, was arrested July 7 on a charge of probation violation.
Deputy S.R. Keffer made the arrest.
