Sheriff Dan Smith reported the following arrests:
• Dylan Lewis Jones, 26, of Cana, was arrested July 29 on a charge of possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance.
Carroll County served the Patrick County warrant.
• Eric William Walker, 19, of Patrick Springs, was arrested July 29 on a charge of intentionally damaging property.
Sgt. Ricky Rorrer made the arrest.
• Michael Bernard Quate, 63, of Stuart, was arrested July 30 on a charge of violating a protective order.
Trooper Noah D. Knight made the arrest.
• Andrew Joseph Summa, 46, of Olyphant, Pa., was arrested July 31 on a charge of possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance with intent to distribute.
Investigator Tyler Wilson made the arrest.
• Christopher James Borders, 18, of Columbia, S.C., was arrested July 31 on a charge of trespassing.
Deputy Brad Holt made the arrest.
• James Charles Anderson, 31, of Stuart, was arrested Aug. 1 on a charge of assaulting a family member.
Deputy Lewis Carroll made the arrest.
• Joshua Lance Hill, 26, of Mount Airy, N.C., was arrested Aug. 1 on a charge of selling a Schedule III controlled substance.
Deputy Winfred Hill made the arrest.
• Kendall Rondae Dodson, 26, of Martinsville, was arrested Aug. 1 on a capias for child support.
Investigator Tyler Wilson made the arrest.
• Christy Morrison Martin, 39, of Patrick Springs, was arrested Aug. 2 on a charge of trespassing.
Deputy Hill made the arrest.
• Courtney Pack Haynes, 23, of Ararat, was arrested Aug. 3 on a charge of assault on a family member.
Lt. Rob Coleman made the arrest.
• Kevin Howard Haynes, 38, of Jonesville, N.C., was arrested Aug. 3 on a charge of assault on a family member.

• Chad Anderson McCann, 44, of Claudville, was arrested Aug. 4 on a charge of driving while intoxicated, first offense.

• Lionel Shawn Smith, 32, of Patrick Springs, was arrested Aug. 4 on a capias for failure to appear in court.

• William James Sprowl Jr., 54, of Stuart, was arrested Aug. 4 on a charge of assaulting a family member.
