The second annual Woolwine Ice Cream Social hosted by the Woolwine Covered Bridge Committee will be held on Sunday, Aug. 21, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Smith River Rescue Squad Building.
Various ice cream treats will be sold with the proceeds to benefit the Virginia Covered Bridge Festival.
Décor for the event will reflect the 1950s. Attendees are encouraged to wear attire from the era and dance to great music of the past.
The social will also include a cruise-in of classic cars. Owners are invited to bring their special or unique vehicles for display. Cruise-in participants will receive a discount on their ice cream treat purchases.
Everyone is invited to attend this special event for an afternoon of food, fun and community fellowship.
