Sheriff Dan Smith reported the following arrests:
•Michael Anthony Carpenter, 38, of Morristown, Tenn., was arrested March 10 on two indictment counts of forcible sodomy, two indictment counts of aggravated sexual battery, and one indictment count of possession of child pornography.
Deputy Stan Flowers made the arrest.
•Joseph Fitzgerald Turner, 47, of Stuart, was arrested March 8 on a charge of forcible sodomy.
Investigator Tennille Jessup and Deputy Richard Duncan made the arrest.
•Trey Austin Marshall, 23, of Ararat, was arrested March 10 on a capias for failure to appear in court.
Deputy Oscar Tejeda made the arrest.
•Amber Lea Marshall, 24, of Ararat, was arrested March 10 on a charge of trespassing.
Deputy Margie Stowe made the arrest.
•Kasa Ikeame Kelley, 25, of Roanoke, was arrested March 10 on charges of driving a motor vehicle with a suspended or revoked license, third or subsequent offense.
State Trooper P.W. Meade made the arrest.
•Paricher E. Newman, 73, of Patrick Springs, was arrested March 10 on a charge of assault and battery.
Deputy Tejeda made the arrest.
•Dwayne Anthony Street, 51, of Bassett, was arrested March 7 on a charge of probation violation.
Investigator Danny Martin made the arrest.
•Geneva Dillon Doss, 67, of Stuart, was arrested March 8 on a charge of obtaining money by false pretense.
Investigator Steve Austin and Deputy Lewis Carroll made the arrest.
