Alzheimer’s Awareness Day was held Saturday at DeHart Park, with the goal of raising money for Alzheimer’s research and helping people who have the disease and their caregivers. Some supporters walked around the trail and others listened to speakers about various aspects of awareness. Purple balloons were released in honor or memory of loved ones, and the balloons went flying into the air. (Photos by Linda Hylton)
