Soccer team wins on the road

The Patrick County Varsity Boys Soccer traveled to Chatham High on Thursday, March 14 for the second game of the season. The Cougars defeated the Cavaliers 6-1. Krishal Somasundaram scored twice for the Cougars. Burke Gonzalez, Seth Wright, Venancio Olivares, and Luis Ramirez also each added a goal. Wright and Ramirez led the team in assists with two each, with Gonzalez and Edgar Olivares each adding an assist. Martin Morse had seven saves for the night. The Cougars kept Chatham keeper Hunter Harr busy, taking a total of 43 shots. The Cougars are now 2-0 on the season.
