Sovah Health announced that nurse practitioner Zachary Oakes, FNP has joined Sovah Physician Practices and will be providing primary care for Sovah Family Medicine – Mount Hermon.
“We are excited to welcome Zack to our team of providers at Sovah Physician Practices,” said Steven Evans, Manager of Physician Services at Sovah Health. “Zack has worked as a registered nurse at our hospital and as a nurse practitioner in our community, so we are proud to welcome him back in this new role at one of our clinics. His experience combined with his passion for his patients, will help us to meet the healthcare needs of our region.”
Zack received his Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Walden University (Minneapolis, M.N.). He completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at Western Governors University (Salt Lake City, UTAH).  He is a member of the Ringgold Volunteer Fire and Rescue since 2006, functioning as an EMT and firefighter.
At Sovah Family Medicine – Mount Hermon, Zack will be working alongside nurse practitioner Liz Harris for urgent care needs, preventative medicine, annual physicals, high blood pressure, diabetes, and joint pain.  Zack is accepting new patients, and appointments may be made by calling (434) 835-0105. The practice is located at 2767 Franklin Turnpike in Danville.
