 Misty Reagan, ANP has joined Sovah Health – Danville as an advanced practice provider in the hospital’s inpatient telemetry and cardiac unit. Caring for patients admitted to the unit, Misty will be rounding on cardiac patients with the attending cardiologist, assisting with care plans for cardiac patients, evaluating and assessing cardiac patients in the emergency room, providing patient education and coordinating of outpatient follow-up.
“Having Misty working with Sovah Heart & Vascular’s cardiologist in the inpatient setting will really help with patient consults in our emergency room and increase efficiency in patient care,” said Alan Larson, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sovah Health – Danville. “Her knowledge in cardiovascular health will help us meet our community’s needs for high quality, compassionate care.”
Misty received her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) South University (Savannah, Georgia) and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (Greensboro, North Caroline). Misty is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
