The Reynolds Homestead Creative Arts Center, located at 334 Patrick Avenue in downtown Stuart, will welcome Studio 107 artist and instructor Charles Hill for a spring painting class on Saturday, March 7 from 2 to 5 p.m.

This acrylic painting class will focus on the basics of painting composition and design, brush types and techniques, mixing paint, color theory, and using one’s own innate creativity to complete a painting. Each participant will create a beautiful spring mountain scene.

If participants have their own acrylic paints and brushes, they are welcome to bring them to use, but all materials are provided. The cost to participate is $35 per person. Registration and pre-payment is required. Call the Reynolds Homestead at 276-694-7181 to register.

Painting of Spring Mountains will be the subject of the March 7 class.
