The chairman of the Patrick County Board of Supervisors plans to solicit support for an immediate suspension of the county’s support to the Jeb Stuart Rescue Squad.

Lock Boyce said Tuesday he will introduce a resolution to that effect at the meeting on Monday, Dec. 17 in the Patrick County Veterans Memorial Building in Stuart.

Boyce said his action is by the squad’s failure to terminate one of its part-time employees after a weekend story was published in “The Huffington Post,” alleging that McNabb, 35, is “a white supremist podcaster” and a frequent co-host of “The Daily Shoah.”

State officials also have confirmed that an investigation is underway following an anonymous Nov. 26 complaint. (See related story)

McNabb was placed on unpaid leave late Monday however Boyce said squad officials did not go far enough.

“Yes, he has First Amendment protection, but there is certainly legal standing for employees to be barred from certain employment” fields, Boyce said, adding that some of the things the story alleges McNabb said “are just despicable. These types of beliefs are not appropriate for health care workers” or anyone.

The meeting commences at 6 p.m. in the third-floor conference room.
