I’ve been writing a Letter To The Editor regarding the Red Cross Blood Drive each month for a year now and am still amazed at the terrific people in Patrick County who come each month to donate a pint, have some lunch, and visit with the volunteers and others who have donated.  It’s a pride thing.

I am also thankful for the sponsors each month and this month it is Blue Ridge Furniture.

Adding to my thankful list are the volunteers who wear a mask and come each month:  Denise Clark, Linda Smith, William Hines, Gene Stirewalt, Laura and Christine Citrano, and Betty Holt.

We, here in Patrick County, are fortunate to have such dedicated volunteers.  If you see any of them, say thanks.

Judi Sanborn,

Coordinator
