Primland, Auberge Resorts Collection, the luxury boutique resort set amid the Blue Ridge Mountains of southwest Virginia, welcomes the summer season with a full slate of weekly family-oriented activities, complimentary to guests 11 years of age or younger.

With ventures such as guided hikes through the property’s 12,000 pristine acres, gazing at the stars from one of the largest telescopes and observatories in the Eastern U.S., and congregating as a family for an outdoor movie, family and puzzle night, Primland’s curated kids’ adventures will inspire new skills and create lifelong memories.

“Primland prides itself on offering an array of activities and amenities that resonate with guests of all ages, especially families traveling for summer vacation,” said Julee Midden, Director of Sales and Marketing. “The Family Fun Program has always been wildly popular because there truly is something special for everyone at Primland and many of these experiences take advantage of the optimal weather and amazing scenery during the summer months.”

The weekly Summer Family Fun Itinerary is as follows. These are complimentary activities for children 11 and younger.

Monday

10 a.m. – Archery

1 p.m. – Guided Hike

9:30 p.m. – Stargazing for Kids

Tuesday

11 a.m. – Kids Pond Fishing

2 p.m. – Meet the Horses

9 p.m. – Family Movie Night

Wednesday

10 a.m. – Family Putting Challenge

2 p.m. – Stream Critters

6 p.m. – Family Game and Puzzle Night

Thursday

All Day – Kids Crafts

2 p.m. – Kids Yoga

6 -8 p.m. – Cotton Candy on the Lodge Terrace
