The Patrick County Board of Supervisors will meet Monday, Dec. 12, at 6 p.m. in the Patrick County Administration Building. All meetings include a public comment period during which board members welcome citizens to express their questions, concerns and feedback on county government and local issues.
Topics scheduled for discussion at the upcoming meeting include a report from Steve Allen, Patrick County Emergency Services Coordinator; ratification of the Local Emergency No Open-air Burn Ban; and trail maintenance plans. Also, David Kiser with the Virginia Dept. of Transportation will discuss the secondary six-year plan.
After the open discussion, board members will hold a closed executive session to discuss personnel, legal and contract matters, and real estate.
The next board meeting is January 9, 2017.
