The Patrick County Girls Tennis Team travelled to G.W. Danville on May 10.
The Lady Eagles won the singles category 5-1.
Ella Payne (GW) defeated Lauren Largen (PC) 8-0, Sadie Gunn (GW) defeated Mia Stowe (PC) 8-5, Natalie Harris (GW) defeated Marissa Bentley (PC) 9-9 with tie break, Madison Mullis (PC) defeated Kirstan Ramirez (GW) 8-6, Kyra Alexander (GW) defeated Brianna Puckett (PC) 8-6, and Akierra Childress (GW) wins by PC forfeit for sixth seed singles.
In doubles GW Danville took a 2-1 win. Natalie Harris/Ella Payne (PC) defeated Lauren Largen/Marissa Bentley (PC) 9-7, Mia Stowe/Madison Mullis (PC) defeated Sadie Gunn/Kirstan Ramirez (GW) 8-6, and Akierra Childress/Kyra Alexander (GW) won by PC forfeit for third seed singles.
The team will travel to Virginia Tech on Wednesday, May 19 for regional play.
