Ronnie Terry announced he will seek a fourth term on the Patrick County School Board.
Terry said he decided to seek reelection to the Blue Ridge District seat because he is an advocate for pay raises and wants to continue working on several issues confronting the division, including the financial situation.
“We have a lot of big decisions coming up this year” and the next few years, Terry said.
A Patrick native and graduate of Patrick County High School, Terry, of the Blue Ridge District, currently serves as vice-chairman of the board. He served five years as chairman.
A co-owner of Terry’s Body Shop in Meadows of Dan, Terry has three adult sons, two of which live in Patrick County, and three grandchildren attending local schools.
“I want to help make the division the best it can be,” he said.
If elected in November, it will be Terry’s fourth term.
