The Cougar Track and Field Team competed in the Mighty Viking Invitational at North Stokes, Saturday, March 28. Gracen Conner finished 10th in the 100 Meter Dash. Conner finished 9th in the 200 Meter Dash. Cameron Rakes placed 18th in the 800 Meter Run. Callie Wood came in 12th in the 1600 Meter Run. Sadie Martin placed 3rd in the 3200 Meter with a time of 12:35.69, qualifying her for the state finals. Kaylene Garcia, Cameron Rakes, Gracen Conner, and Isabella Nashburn placed 8th in the 4×100 Relay. Sierra Helms placed 14th in Discus, and Maddy Martin was 12th in Shot Put. Fisher Martin finished 3rd in the 800 Meter Run. Hunter Martin placed 3rd in the 1600 Meter with a time of 4:35.92 qualified him for the state finals. William Overby finished 19th in the 1600. In the 3200 Meter, Noah Hiatt finished 10th, Overby finished 13th, and Brett Foley finished 17th. Glenn Stovall took 18th in the 110 Meter Hurdles and 14th in the 300 Meter Hurdles. Landon Moles, Eli Hairston, Peyton Pascale, and Jacob Gosnell finished 15th in the 4×200 Meter Relay. Dylan Quesinberry, Hunter Martin, Fisher Martin, and Xavier Torres finished 9th in the 4×400 Meter Relay. In Discus, Tyrese Penn finished 13th and Reggie Brown finished 19th.
