The Patrick County Republican Committee and the Henry County – Martinsville Republican Committee hosted a “Trump Train” in support of Donald Trump’s reelection efforts on Sunday, Nov. 1. Nearly 200 vehicles, many sporting Donald Trump and American flags, gathered in uptown Stuart to kick off the parade of vehicles before proceeding to Martinsville along U.S. 58 East.

Train participants were met with enthusiastic onlookers at various intervals along the route, waving and videoing the train of decorated vehicles, which included trucks, cars, antique vehicles, a dump truck and a Lamborghini.

The event ended at Tractor Supply in Martinsville, on U.S. Business 220, where train participants were met with more vehicles in support of Trump, and many enjoyed fellowship and ice cream at Dipper’s.

The longest tractor trailer combination, completely wrapped with a portrait of Donald Trump and Mike Pence, also was there and used by many as a backdrop for photos.

“It was a great and successful event showing Donald Trump enthusiasm leading into election day,” organizers said.
