TCRH announced that Sara Hart, RN was recognized as the facility’s 2022 Mercy Award winner.
Each spring, the Mercy Award is given to one employee from each of LifePoint Health’s hospitals who exemplifies the spirit and values upon which the company was founded. Created and named in honor of the late Scott Mercy, LifePoint’s founding chairman and CEO, this award is the highest accolade that a LifePoint Health employee can receive. It recognizes individuals who:
- consistently go above and beyond the call of duty
• demonstrate a level of commitment and caring that transcends the everyday
• respect others in everything they do; and
• inspire others with their compassion, dedication and merciful spirit
Sara embodies each of these characteristics and so much more. She goes above and beyond in her work every day, treating each patient as if they were her own family member. Sara, a case manager at TCRH, works tirelessly to ensure every patient has their medical, physical, and emotional needs met prior to discharge from our facility. She has a positive, can-do attitude and her personality puts patients at ease and co-workers consider her a team player.
“At Twin County Regional Healthcare, we share LifePoint’s commitment to making communities healthier, and we realize that the hard work and dedication of our employees is critical to our success,” said Gregory Pearson, Chief Executive Officer of Twin County Regional Healthcare. “I am so proud to recognize Sara with this award, and I am equally pleased that her peers have also noticed and appreciate the dedication and compassion she demonstrates daily.”
Sara is very involved in her community finding time to work with Scouts to ensure that children of all ages have a positive experience while providing character development and value-based leadership.
Each LifePoint hospital winner, including Sara, will be considered for LifePoint’s 2022 company-wide Mercy Award. The company-wide winner will be announced later this year and honored during a special ceremony in Nashville, Tenn.
