Town and county officials, business owners/staff, customers and others gathered last week to celebrate the expansion and/or relocation of two existing businesses.
A ribbon cutting was held at Uptown Stagecoach, located at 121 N. Main Street, in Stuart. The coffee shop and eatery Uptown is the second location of Stagecoach Coffee & More, which is located at 21982 Jeb Stuart Highway in Patrick Springs.
A ribbon cutting also was held at State Farm Insurance Companies, which is now housed in the former Wanda’s Estate Jewelry building.
Near the end of the jovial event, Kurt Bozenmayer donned a ribbon and waited as Rebecca Adcock, executive director of the Patrick County Chamber of Commerce, jokingly prepared the scissors.
