Two words aren’t heard much any more. It’s a real shame because they’re easy to say and mean so much and bring smiles, and make folks so very pleased when they hear them.
My parents made sure to teach them to me and made certain I used them!
Learning from our own experience, they too were among the first, very easy words my husband and I would use ourselves when talking with our children. In that way, both of them understood their meaning and could say them without being told to.
My friend Mary and I talk often about the lack of their use by so many people—of all ages! We listen for them all the time, wherever we go, disappointed by their absence and find it hard to understand.
My guessing game is over. And I hope you know the words I’m concerned about. My biggest wish is that some of you (but hope lots) will become aware of their absence and bring them back to daily use. Oh happy day!
Hope you’ll spread the words!
Ah, yes! For reading this, playing the game, and—most certainly—putting them to use every day…I say…
Thank you!
