With America’s 250th birthday celebrations coming up in 2026, the Patrick County VA250 Committee is encouraging local churches, or anyone with a bell, to ring them thirteen times at 5 p.m. on July 4. Bells around the country will ring once for each of the original thirteen colonies on this Independence Day.
