As a way of honoring the Front Porch Fest spirit, the Front Porch Fest team will host a free livestream via Facebook, beginning at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug 29.

The show “won’t be your average livestream but an extravaganza of what makes this festival feel like home,” organizers wrote in a release. “While music will be a huge part of the event, we’ve also prepared a number of activities for the whole family: kid’s crafts, recipes from our VIP cookbook, comedy skits, raffles, and more.”

Performers include Erin & The Wildfire, Striking Copper, Prosperity’s Folly, Slick Jr. & The Reactors, Borrowed Earth, Maggie Blankenship, Chris Owens, Maya Burgess, Fluidity Performance Troupe and the FPF Family All-Star Jam.

The entire night will be hosted- telethon style, by Chris Prutting, also known as ‘The Big Guy.’ Prutting also is the festival founder and leader.

A portion of proceeds from the evening, through individual donations and sponsors, will be reinvested in the community via the Patrick County Community Food Bank and Caring Hearts Free Clinic, which rely on annual donations from One Family Productions and Front Porch Fest to serve the community.
