The Patrick County Varsity Softball traveled to Myrtle Beach, S.C., over Spring Break to play in the Ripkin Experience.
On Monday, April 6, the Lady Cougars defeated Central Academy from New York, 10-0. Jenna Woods was dominate on the mound, giving up 1 hit and striking out 11. Woods and Hayden Lawless had four hits each, and Journey Moore had 2 hits with a home run.
On Tuesday, April 7, the ladies fell to Bulliet East High School from Louisville, Kentucky, 10-2. Hayden Lawless, Gracie Marshall, and Woods all pitched in the loss. Moore, Lawless, Lauren Hazelwood, Marshall, Chloe Hubbard, and Woods each had hits.
