On Monday, May 10, the Lady Cougars defeated Bassett 2-1.
Katherine Beckett and Abigail Epperson pitched for the Cougars, striking out 10. Epperson was credited with the win.
Mackenzie Belcher had 2 hits with 2 runs scored, and Danielle King added 2 hits with a double and 2RBI’s.
Patrick County defeated the Lady Warriors of Magna Vista 10-4 on Friday, May 14.
Brooke Meade was credited with the win, and Abigail Epperson came in for the save. Epperson hit a 3-run homer and had 5 RBI’s.
Danielle King, Mackenzie Belcher, and Samantha Harris each had 2 hits.
King had 3 RBI’s and Gracelyn Hubbard crossed the plate 3 times for the win.
