The Patrick County Lady Cougar Varsity Softball Team got off to a good start with a 12-1 home win over Liberty-Bedford. Jenna Woods pitched 5 strong innings, giving up 3 hits with 5 strikeouts. Gracie Marshall pitched the 6th inning with 2 strikeouts. Ava Hiatt led the way with 3 hits, and Aubreigh Large had 2 doubles. Lacey Sutphin, Journey Moore, and Hayden Lawless each added 2 hits.
