Varsity Volleyball Wins Two

Journey Moore serves for the Cougars

The Patrick County Varsity Volleyball team hosted Chatham September 12, winning in 4 sets with scores of 25-16, 22-25, 25-15, and 25-13.  Samantha Harris had14 kills, 11 digs, and 9 aces. 

Marissa Bentley had 10 kills and 3 aces. Lilly Byers had 37 assists and 5 aces. 

The Lady Cougars lost to Floyd 1-3 at home September 13.  The scores were-25-23, 18-25, 17-25, and 18-25. Bryley Pike had 11 aces and 7 digs, Harris had 10 kills and13 digs. Byers had 27 assists and 3 aces. Journey Moore added 18 digs, 3 kills, and 2 aces.  

PC headed to Ridgeway to take on Magna Vista September 15, winning a close one in 5 sets: 25-15, 19-25, 25-21, 22-25, 17-15. Byers had 36 assists, 14 digs, and 7 aces. Harris had 16 kills, 17 digs, and 3 aces. Bentley had 8 kills, 2 blocks, and 3 aces. Moore had 25 digs, 3 kills, and 4 assists.  

The Lady Cougars are now 9-2.
