VDOT to close portions of two roads on June 27

Portions of Dobyns Church and Spring roads will be closed on Monday, June 27, according to releases from the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).  

* Virginia 643 (Dobyns Church Road) will be closed to through traffic from Virginia 631 (Dobyns Road) to Virginia 644 (Peters Creek Drive) for a pipe replacement 

The road is scheduled to re-open to traffic on Friday, July 1, weather permitting. 

 

* Virginia 680 (Spring Road) will be closed to through traffic from Virginia 766 (Old Mill Road) to Virginia 819 (First Southern Drive) for a bridge replacement over Bark Mill Creek.  

Weather permitting, the road will re-open to traffic on Friday, July 8. 

 

Directional signs will be used during the closures to help travelers.
