Virginia Tourism Corporation (VTC) has announced that the agency will be launching “12 Days of Giving,” an Instagram contest promotion with prizes that will showcase Virginia’s diverse-and delicious-culinary offerings.
Through November 24, VTC will run the promotion on its Instagram channel, which currently boasts more than 72,500 followers. Each day, a new Virginia product will be posted, and followers have until midnight each day to like and comment, and a winner will be selected at random. By tagging a friend in their comment, winners also have the opportunity to “give” the prize to a friend, as well.
The promotion is meant to highlight Virginia culinary products while also fostering the spirit of giving this holiday season.
Prizes include: tickets to Fire, Flour & Fork (Richmond); half-pound box of caramels from La Vache Microcreamery (Charlottesville); 32 ounce bottles of cold brew coffee from Lincoln Road Coffee (Wise); Shenandoah Apple Cakes from Red Truck Bakery (Marshall); bushel of oysters from Rappahannock Oyster Co. (Topping); 16-piece chocolate gift assortment from Geartharts Chocolates (Charlottesville/Richmond); Texas Beach Bloody Mary mix (Richmond); 14 days of cold-pressed juices from Lumi (Charlottesville); assorted cheeses from Caromont Farm (Esmont); salted Virginia peanuts from Feridies (Courtland); The Virginia Table book from Our Local Commons (Charlottesville); and a Virginia is for Food Lovers gift basket (Richmond).
