Volleyball team advances to semi-finals

The Patrick County High School (PCHS) Varsity Cougars Volleyball Team hosted Floyd County on November 3 in the Quarter Finals of Regional 2C Tournament after earning a 1st round bye. 

The Lady Cougars won in 5 sets with scores of 25-15, 25-15, 23-25, 14-25, and 15-8. Kaylee Towler had 10 kills, 16 digs, and 3 kills.

Lilly Byers had 28 assists, 7 kills, and 10aces. Eliza Clifton had 7 kills and 4 blocks.

Samantha Harris had 9 aces, 16 digs, and 5 kills. Journey Moore added 22 digs and 2 assists. 

The Cougars traveled to Glenvar on Tuesday, November 8, to take on Appomattox County.
