The Virginia School Boards Association (VSBA) honored school board members across the state with certificates of recognition for their “dedication and service to excellence in education” in observance of School Board Appreciation Month in February. The VSBA also issued a certificate of appreciation to Sara Leigh Collins, clerk of the board, in honor of her “dedication and hard work for public education through continued service to students.” Feb. 15-19 was School Board Clerk Appreciation Month. Pictured with Collins and Dr. William Sroufe, division superintendent, are school board members Michelle Day, Ronnie Terry, J.D. Morse and Annie Hylton. (Not pictured: Kandy Burnett)
