Virginia State Universitys Small Farm Outreach Program is offering workshops and courses to help beginning and established small farmers make smart business decisions.
Attendees can get information on tax planning, record keeping and marketing, as well as strategies for reducing risk and connecting to available funding through state and federal agencies.
Nearly all courses and workshops are provided at no charge. In addition to events at VSUs Randolph Farm, there are several offered in eastern, Northern and Southeast Virginia.
