Wallace Allen Adams, 71, of Martinsville, died on Thursday, January 28, 2016.
He was born on November 23, 1944 in Patrick County, and was a son of the late Edith Mabel Sheppard Adams and Wallace William Adams.
He worked as a masonry contractor and was co-owner of Habco. He was of the Baptist faith and attended New Hope Church of the Brethren.
Surviving are his wife, Erma Belcher Adams of the residence, one daughter, Kelly Dillard of Timberlake, N.C., a granddaughter, Emma Steude of Cary, N.C.; sisters, Sandra McBride of Penhook and Beth Little of Key West, Fla., a brother, Bryan Adams of Blue Ridge, and best friend and business partner of 50 years, Frank Hylton; two nieces, Heather Blizzard and Brianna Adams, five nephews, Todd Barnes, Michael Ratcliff, Douglas Little, Lucas Adams and Brannon Adams.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday at Norris Funeral Service, Martinsville Chapel with Pastor Rick Randall officiating.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Association, P.O. Box 3907, Martinsville, VA 24115.
Arrangements were by Norris Funeral Services Inc. and Crematory Martinsville. Online condolences may be made at www.NorrisFuneral.com.
