Walter Lee “Wally” Augustine

Mr. Walter Lee “Wally” Augustine, age 66 of Meadows of Dan, Virginia passed away at home on Wednesday, March 26, 2025. He was born in Pender County, North Carolina on February 28, 1959, to Walter Don Augustine and Mary Lee Rivenbark Augustine. He was preceded in death by his father. Wally owned and operated Wally’s Automotive for over 20 years. He loved fishing, hunting, and watching racing. Wally loved to watch his boys and grandchildren play ball and always had a project he was working on. He had to be tinkering on something all the time.

Left to cherish the memories of Wally are his mother, Mary Lee Rivenbark Augustine of Elizabethtown, North Carolina; his three children, Allison Augustine Vincell (Joe) of Franklin, West Virginia, Landon Augustine (Kylie) of Stuart, Virginia, Braedon Augustine of Patrick Springs, Virginia; three grandchildren, James Vincell, Susan Vincell, and Nathanael Vincell.

A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, March 30, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Meadows of Dan Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 830, Meadows of Dan, VA  24120.
